Mint Punch(Lemonade) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    juice of 4 lemons
    24 sprigs mint, chopped
    1 c. granulated sugar
    12 stalks mint (leaves and stems)
    8 lemon rinds (rinds from lemons used)
    1 qt. water
    2 qt. ginger ale
    1 qt. crushed ice
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and let stand for 2 hours.
    Boil sugar, lemon rinds, mint and water for 5 minutes. Cool.
    Strain the mixtures into a punch bowl. Add the ginger ale and ice.
    Mix and serve.
    Makes 1 gallon.
