Marshmallow Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. marshmallows
    1 1/2 Tbsp. milk, cream or evaporated milk
    2 egg whites
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut the marshmallows in small pieces with the kitchen scissors.
    Put them, with the milk, in the top of a double boiler; simmer, stirring, about 3 minutes.
