Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 bay leaf
    1 shredded potato
    1 bunch broccoli or 1 (12 oz.) frozen
    1 onion, chopped
    carrots and celery (as desired)
    1 1/2 c. milk or cream
    1 c. Velveeta cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fill a large kettle half full with water.
    Add all ingredients except milk and cheese.
    Simmer until done.
    Add milk or cream and cheese.
    Do not boil after cheese is added.
