Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 graham cracker shell
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    3 egg whites
    1/4 c. sugar (for topping)
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix peanut butter and confectioners sugar; put 3/4 of mixture into pie shell.
    Heat all of ingredients from milk to vanilla together in a large pot until thickened (stirring all the time). Pour into pie shell.
    Beat egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar for topping, then put remaining peanut butter mixture on top.
    Brown in oven.
    Cool in refrigerator.
    Serves 8.
