Sponge Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix in order given, add water last.
    Place in 5 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
