Ingredients

2 c. butter
8 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix butter, flour, baking powder and salt by hand like pie crust.
Beat eggs; add milk, vanilla, sugar and soda.
Mix all together, then add flour to mixture.
Chill dough (I mix it up the night before and then bake the next day).
Roll out and cut.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Frost with powdered sugar frosting while warm.
