Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. soup beans
    1/2 lb. bacon
    2 Tbsp. table syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in hot water
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight; drain.
    Add cold water.
    Cook 1/2 hour; drain pot.
    In baking dish, add ingredients.
    Cover with boiling water.
    Bake 4 hours.
