Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugars, eggs, pineapple and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Combine dry ingredients, then add to first mixture.
Add nuts; mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoon onto oiled cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Yields 6 dozen cookies.
Store in loosely covered container.
