Bohemian Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    3/8 c. warm milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. lemon rind
    1 egg
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. pecans
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.
    Mix milk, sugar, salt, shortening and lemon rind.
    Stir until shortening is well mixed.
    Stir in egg.
    Add raisins and nuts.
    Add 1 1/4 cups flour and mix well.
    Add rest of flour and knead until smooth.
    Put in bowl and rise double.
    Punch down and let rise again for 45 minutes.
