Emily'S Ginger Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and molasses; beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
    Shape into small balls (1-inch).
    Dip 1/2 surface into granulated sugar.
    Bake 2 1/2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
