Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain corn meal
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Pour boiling water over meal, beating constantly to prevent lumping.
Let cool.
Add butter, sugar, and salt.
Add eggs, baking powder, and milk.
Bake at 425\u00b0 in casserole dish for 45 minutes or until brown on top.
