Greek Chicken With Green Olives - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer chicken, cut up
    1 c. salad green olives
    3 to 4 medium onions
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. oregano (dry)
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 c. white wine
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    In a large skillet with cover, brown small pieces of chicken on high flame for about 10 minutes.
    Add sliced onions, olives, stewed tomatoes, oregano, garlic and white wine.
    Bring to a boil, about 2 minutes.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve over your favorite rice.
