Tomato Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 carrots
    6 stems celery
    2 medium onions
    1 can green beans
    1 large can tomatoes
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cut into pieces (as for soup) the first 3 ingredients.
    Add a little salt.
    Simmer in the juice of the tomatoes.
    Add water sparingly to cover until tender.
    Add cut up tomatoes and green beans.
    Add 3 to 4 tablespoons margarine.
    Simmer, adding one tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water to thicken.
