Smoky Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. smoked sausage links, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can lima beans, drained
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in sausage links, corn and lima beans.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
