Sonny'S Favorite Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. candied cherries, cut small
1 lb. candied pineapple, cut small
1 pkg. frozen coconut
1 qt. pecans
1/2 ___ butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
2/3 tsp. baking powder (1/8 plus 1/4)
1/2 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add after mixing together the flour, baking powder and salt; mix.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Coat fruit with small amount of flour; add to mixture.
Grease and flour tube cake pan.
Bake for 3 1/2 hours at 250\u00b0.
