Ginger Glazed Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. pork spareribs
    water to cover ribs
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2/3 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Simmer ribs in water until tender.
    Drain.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, pepper and ginger in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in lemon juice, soy sauce and 1/2 cup water.
    Bring to a boil over high heat.
    Reduce heat and cook for 3 minutes.
    Cover ribs in a shallow pan with sauce and bake for 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Cover with foil while baking.
