Herb Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breasts, boned and halved
    1/4 lb. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. Sauterne or sherry
    5 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced
    3 oz. can mushrooms
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Brown chicken breasts in butter.
    Salt and pepper.
    Place in flat casserole.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 30 minutes.
