Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stewing hen or chicken
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. spaghetti
    3 slices bacon
    1 large sweet onion
    4 oz. can pimentos
    1 large green pepper
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    8 oz. can mushrooms
Preparation
    Cut chicken in pieces.
    Cover with water.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Cook until tender.
    Remove meat from bones and cut into small pieces.
    Boil spaghetti in broth for 15 minutes.
    Drain (saving broth).
    Shred bacon and fry until brown.
    Saute onion and pepper in bacon fat.
    Add pimentos and mushrooms.
    Add to chicken. Combine all with spaghetti and cheese, using broth as needed. Heat through and serve.
