Tomatoes Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    6 large firm tomatoes, cored
    1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. caper
    1/4 c. breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease large baking dish with oil.
    Cut tomatoes crosswise into 1/2-inch slices.
    Layer 1/2 tomato slices in dish.
    Sprinkle with half spices.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with breadcrumbs; drizzle with oil.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    Serve chilled or at room temperature.
    Makes 6 servings.
