Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose or whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, egg and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoon about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool and remove from cookie sheet.
    Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
