Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1 beaten egg
    3 eggs
    1 c. light syrup
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Set aside 2/3 of the cake mix.
    Combine remaining cake mix, margarine and beaten eggs.
    Stir by hand (spoon) until mixture is crumbly.
    Press the mixture evenly over the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
