Sally Ann Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix well and chill at least 1 hour.
    Roll out (not too thin). Cut with empty Spam can. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Do not overbake.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
