Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Bran Buds or all-bran
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 1 1/2 cups bran.
    Let stand while mixing together all other ingredients, except remaining bran.
    Add the remaining dry bran and soaked bran.
    Mix well.
    Put in refrigerator.
    Keeps about 6 weeks.
    Bake as needed in 400\u00b0 oven. Bake in small muffin tins for about 12 minutes; bake larger tins for 15 to 20 minutes.
