Spinach Pie (Butter)(Spanakopita) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spinach
    1 bunch green onions
    1 lb. Greek Feta cheese, crumbled
    7 eggs
    1 lb. butter, melted
    1 lb. pastry sheets
    salt and white pepper
Preparation
    Wash spinach; allow to drain overnight in a colander.
    Cut the coarse stems off and discard.
    Chop spinach and green onions in a large mixing bowl.
    Add crumbled cheese, unbeaten eggs and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Pour 1/2 of the melted butter over spinach mixture; toss lightly to combine all ingredients.
