Peanut Butter Crunch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    8 oz. cornflakes
Preparation
    In
    medium saucepan, cook together white sugar and corn syrup until it comes to a boil.
    Stir in peanut butter (either smooth or crunchy).
    Remove from heat.
    Prepare a large bowl, lightly buttered,
    with
    cornflakes.
    Pour
    hot
    mixture
    over cornflakes and mix well.
    Then press into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cut into bars when cool.
