Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    dash of ground nutmeg
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg in a saucepan. Gradually stir in water.
    Cook over moderately low heat (225\u00b0), stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.
    Remove from heat. Add butter and lemon juice.
    Stir until butter is melted.
    Keep warm until serving time.
