Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. egg whites
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Sift the flour, then measure.
    Sift the sugar; measure and divide into 2 equal parts.
    Add 1/2 the sugar to flour, then sift together 4 times.
    Add salt to egg whites; beat until foamy. Sprinkle cream of tartar over egg whites, then beat until stiff but not dry.
    Fold in the remaining sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time. Add flavoring.
    Fold in the sugar and flour mixture, 2 tablespoons at a time; mix well.
    Pour into ungreased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
