Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
chopped nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Cream together first 5 ingredients. Add flour, baking soda and salt to creamed mixture and mix until well blended. Shape into rolls. Wrap in wax paper and chill. Slice and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown. (Chopped nuts can be added to the batter before baking if desired.)
