Quickie Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. fig preserves
    2 eggs
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a
    bowl
    and
    mix thoroughly with a spoon.
    (Be sure to
    include
    syrup from fig preserves. This is the only liquid and
    sweetener
    in\tthis
    cake).
    Pour into well-greased pan about 9 x\t12-inches.
    Bake
    at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
