Ham Sensations (40) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (4 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
    3 1/2 oz. can French fried onions, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/4 c. water
    8 thin slices boiled ham
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
Preparation
    Combine flour, cheese, pepper and butter. Gradually add water, mixing at low speed until dough forms. Knead on floured surface 12 times. Roll out dough, half at a time, to 14 x 10. Cut into four 7 x 5 pieces. Place a slice of ham on each. Sprinkle with crushed onions. Starting with 5-inch side, roll up jelly roll fashion; seal edge. Place seam side down on greased cookie sheet. Brush with milk. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cut each roll into 5 slices. Serve hot or cold.
