Caramel Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine yeast and warm water.
    In a small bowl, combine hot milk, shortening, 1/4 cup of the sugar and salt. Let cool to lukewarm.
    Add to yeast mixture.
    Add egg and 1 cup of the flour.
    Beat well.
    Gradually add remaining flour, mixing well. Cover and let rise in warm place 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
    Punch down dough.
