Taffy-Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks (juice-pack)
    2 c. tiny marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 beaten egg
    6 to 7 c. cubed, cored red and/or green apples
    1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    In a large bowl, stir together pineapple chunks and marshmallows; cover and chill for up to 24 hours.
