Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter or margarine
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
5 medium potatoes
2 small yellow onions
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Shred cheese; set aside.
In 2 quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Blend in flour; add milk all at once; cook stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add cheese, salt and pepper.
Continue cooking and stirring until cheese melts. Remove from heat.
Spread 1/2 cheese sauce in bottom of shallow 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
Slice potatoes and onions.
Arrange potato and onion slices over cheese sauce layer.
Top with remaining cheese sauce.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until potatoes are done. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
