Ingredients

3/4 c. butter Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients.
Beat at medium speed.
Add well beaten egg to creamed mixture.
Add dry ingredients and blend. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, just to blended stage.
Drop 3-inches apart by tablespoon on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool 2 minutes on sheet, then remove.
