3 Step Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    6 oz. lean pork
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic minced
    1 (1 pound) can tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes sauce
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    3 c. (1-24 oz. carton or 2-12 oz.) creamed cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 (8 oz.) package lasagne noodles (cooked & drained)
    3/4 lb. (3 cups) mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Step 1:
    Cook beef, pork, onion and garlic in large sauce pan. Drain off all fat.
    Add tomatoes, and break them up with a fork. Stir in tomato sauce, 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes, sugar, 1 tsp. salt and basil.
    Heat to boil, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 1 hour or until mixture is the consistency of spaghetti sauce.
    Reserve at least 1/2 cup of meat sauce mixture for finally topping.
