Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast (RapidRise)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in sugar, half of the flour and salt. Beat until smooth. Add egg and shortening.
    Beat in the rest of the flour until smooth. Cover with a cloth.
    Let rise in warm place until double, approximately 30 minutes. Stir down and spoon dough into 12 large or 20 to 24 regular muffin cups.
    Let dough rise to top of muffin cups, approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
