Venison-Noodle Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground venison
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 c. diced celery
    1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans
    2 c. broad noodles, uncooked
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can button mushrooms
    2 tsp. salt (seasoned)
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown meat in shortening.
    Saute onion, green pepper and celery until transparent. Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well. Cover tightly and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
