Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes, diced
    1 small onion, sauteed
    2 cans creamed corn
    milk
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. bacon (optional)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in water until cooked.
    Dice 1 small onion and saute in butter.
    Drain potatoes and put into a pot with 2 cans creamed corn and onion.
    Pour milk over mixture, about 1-inch more than potatoes, etc.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    (Optional: Fry bacon until crisp.
    Crumble and add to soup.)
    Bring to hot, not boil, because of milk.
