Corn Meal Dumplngs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    mustard greens
    1 1/2 c. plain meal
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 egg, beaten
    water
Preparation
    Cook mustard greens with salt and oil to taste.
    Boil in plenty of water.
    Mix dry ingredients well.
    Stir in egg and onion.
    Add enough water to make a stiff dough.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls into boiling green liquid and cook slowly for about 15 minutes. Serve with pork roast and the greens.
