Mandarin Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (drained thoroughly)
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange segments (drained thoroughly)
    1 sm. box orange jello
    1 sm. carton cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) container cool whip
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix together in medium glass bowl pineapple, mandarin oranges and dry jello.
    Add to this cottage cheese and cool whip.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Stir in 3/4 c. nuts.
    Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
