Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour (I used self-rising)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
cinnamon (whatever amount you like)
2 c. fresh figs or substitute canned figs*
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

*I use 1 (15 3/4 ounce) jar fig preserves and 1 (4 ounce) jar of baby food peaches (or whatever kind you had rather use).
