Gourmet Rice Krispie Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. cornflakes, slightly crushed
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and salt in saucepan; bring to a full boil.
    Stir in peanut butter; remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla, cereals and lastly, chocolate chips.
    Quickly press into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Cut into squares.
    Store in refrigerator.
