Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage
2 cans mushrooms (small)
2 medium onions, chopped
2 c. long grain and wild rice
2 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. almonds, sliced
1 tsp. Accent
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook and drain rice.
Cook and drain sausage.
Saute onions in sausage fat.
Drain fat and add sausage and mushrooms.
Mix flour and cream until smooth.
Add chicken broth and cook until thick; add remaining seasoning.
Mix everything together in casserole pan and bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Top with almonds.
Serves 6.
