Braised Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

brisket of stew beef, sliced to fry
1 c. onion, chopped
cooking oil
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. carrots, chopped
1 c. potatoes, diced
salt and pepper
Preparation

Fry the slices of beef until medium brown.
Add onion, celery, carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper.
Add 2 cups water and let simmer until done (about 1 1/2 hours).
Serve over rice.
