Fruited Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pieces of chicken
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    4 green peppers
    2 onions
    1 can peaches, sliced
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
Preparation
    Brown chicken in skillet in salad oil.
    Remove chicken to bowl. In drippings, cook onions, green peppers, cut into strips.
    Add peach liquid from can to skillet, stir in vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper and 1/4 cup water.
    Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low.
    Add chicken.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    In cup, mix cornstarch and 4 tablespoons water into simmering chicken liquid. Add peaches and tomatoes and heat.
    Serve over rice.
