Bamboo Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cooked (in salt water) shrimp
    1 c. fish sauce
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. frozen green or snow peas
    1 lb. cooked chicken breast, diced
    5 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 cans bamboo shoots (l lb. or 454 g)
    6 fresh mushrooms
Preparation
    Cook shrimp, fish sauce, sugar and salt on high for 5 minutes. Add peas, chicken, sherry and soy sauce.
    Stir to combine all ingredients well.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add bamboo shoots and mushrooms.
    Stir and heat thoroughly.
    Serves 6.
