Adobo (Manok) Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut into pieces
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    black pepper to taste
    salt to taste (not too much)
Preparation
    Marinate chicken with salt, pepper and onions about 1/2 hour. Put all ingredients in pan and cook over medium heat until chicken is tender and liquid has cooked down to about half.
    Serve with fluffy rice.
