Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.\tRemove from heat and stir in brown sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Mix together flour and nuts. Add to brown sugar mixture.
Spread in a 9 inch x 13 inch greased pan.
Bake in 350 oven for 25 minutes.
Cut into bars while warm. Remove from pan when cool.\tYield:\t3 dozen bars.
