Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 large cans tomato juice
    2 large cans red kidney beans
    Texas Pete sauce
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
    1 Tbsp. hot sauce
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Clean and dice onion; combine it with hamburger.
    Cook in a large skillet until done, stirring often to insure that hamburger is broken up.
    Drain off grease and combine in a large pot with tomato juice and beans.
    Add 1/2 stick butter, diced green pepper and hot sauce.
    Cook slowly about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    The amounts of hot sauce and green pepper can be adjusted to your individual taste.
