Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. chopped fresh rhubarb, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
3 eggs
1 c. half and half cream evaporated milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix rhubarb, sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt in a large bowl.
Turn into pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Beat eggs, half and half, nutmeg and sugar in a medium size bowl until well mixed.
Pour over hot rhubarb in pie shell.
Bake until top of pie is browned about 10 minutes longer.
Cool completely before cutting.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
